This pond looks nice. Let’s phish here.

The most interesting thing about semantics is not spelling. There is a whole world of language study that attempts to explain what we actually mean when we talk. Or communicate. Our limited way of understanding relies on language. In the most simple form it says: No, I do not like this. Yes, I like that.Mostly it is meant to gauge our value or place as a member of society.

But the need to win, has another language. It is as raw as evolution. Even though we think that we have evolved.

You want to sell this to me. Thanks for the offer, but what I have in return is not worth what you regard as having value. The salesmen will keep the conversation going. They will phish. It’s the oldest trick in the book. Keep them talking. Wait with your bait. Use emotion, use logic, use everything you know to get them to buy. You do not need this, but my game is to make you believe that you do. And sure as hell, you need it. You need an app to tell you what you eat and how far you are walking every day. For the sake of productivity. To make the world a better place.

It overshadows all. The need to sell. And the stupidity to buy.
